Henry Blue was a dog with history of mystery and a hair-raising bit of back story. Read more in his blog.
He was also an artist. Likely informed by his days as a stray on the streets, his creative process was steeped in his deep regard for discarded items. His process was slow and deliberate. He never ate the artwork. He carefully created each piece, then walked away, leaving it for us to find.
Some of his classic works are published in the book, Henry Blue: An Incomplete Oeuvre. Visit his Linktree to buy the book, read his bio and view his television broadcast debut.
Henry Blue’s artworks are displayed on Instagram @henry_blue_artist and are currently housed in the Special Collections wing of Museum of Collections of Small Things and Books and Found Objects (IG @MOCOSTABAFO and mocostabafo.com).
